These are the important dates for XFC 2026. Note that this is only the schedule for the normal XFC track. Although the WCCI competition schedule is typically different, this year they are aligned.

Development and Competition Help/Q&A Session
This will be a virtual meeting/seminar where the competition details are described. This is followed by a development help session and general Q&A.
10 June 2026
Agent Submission/Qualifying Deadline
Teams must submit a version of their agents to organizers in order to ensure proper, error-free integration ahead of the competition. Performance is only evaluated for seeding the final competition playoff bracket.
18 June 2026
Competition
Final Competition day! Teams will make video presentations (template/requirements will be given) to show what they did. All submitted agents will then be evaluated live in a playoff format. The playoff will be livestreamed on a streaming service so others can view as well.
